Bring yo' stretchy pants for the highlight of the event! Browse hundreds of food items from our vendors and watch them make it right before your eyes. Fan favorites range from traditional Asian street snacks like takoyaki octopus balls and grilled squid bigger than yo' face, fusion bites such as pho tacos and rainbow elote, and fantastic desserts like poop emoji-shaped churros and potted plant ice cream. Sharing is caring, but you can snack on smaller portions or go whole hog on an item you really, really want for yourself! Tip: come with a group and split up. Order from different vendors and then reconvene to share and maximize the variety of foods you can EAT!
Sip a fancy schmancy lemonade from a mason jar with flavored jellies, milk tea in a unicorn pool floatie, or icy fruit smoothies in a lightbulb. Whatever suits your pinky-lifting ways, we got the wildest drink containers imaginable. Beer is available for those 21+ so bring yo' ID. Let's DRINK to that!
Mosey on to our crafts vendors when you first enter the event through the Promenade. You'll get to try on handmade jewelry, find the perfect Deadpool crochet doll as a gift or adopt a cute plant terrarium. Even more merch vendors await you outside so you can SHOP till you drop! Tip: bring a backpack or bag to carry your items in.
Take a seat and hear some awesome performances from local artists on our Entertainment Stage! Past artists have included K-pop violinist Jun Sung Ahn and Youtube artist Joseph Vincent. Teams of 20-30 dancers compete for a cash prize in our annual Horizon Dance Competition. Last year's winner was Miniotics, the junior division of America's Best Dance Crew Poretics. We also had b-boy dance competitions, most notably our 7 To Smoke. Come prepared to LISTEN and be entertained!
See some local artists get down and dirty while live painting or competing in an art battle at our Art Walk! Chat with artists, bring a picture of your doggo to get a specially commissioned piece, or pick up a new canvas for your place. Some favorites in the past included watercolor splash fan art by Geoff Pascual, your favorite Japanese animation characters in minion form by Kris Kehasukjaren and Asian American cultural icon Angry Little Girls by Lela Lee. Definitely the ones to WATCH in your local art scene!
There's plenty to do such as trying to impress your date by winning a gigantic plushie Pokemon, showing off your glorious mug in photos and dancing the night away on our open dance floor. B-boys are more than welcome to come take over the floor and break out some moves to some beats by our DJ. We've also had cosplay events in the past, so be on the lookout for a chance to dress up as your favorite anime character. Come and PLAY!
If a French croissant and a Mexican concha had a food baby, it’d be a CRONCHA. 626 team member Annika visited new vendor The Donut Makers at their store in Garden Grove and got behind the scenes as part of our new “Meet The Vendor” series. The owner’s daughter Monnica Som gives us the lowdown on The Donut Makers’ story.
Got an idea for the next crazy food trend? Are your tees or plushies so dang cute that everyone and their grandma should have one? We're looking for a diverse range of food, arts and crafts vendors for our hottest season yet!
